Drain Tile

Making sure that the soundness of the foundation is achieved has to be a top priority. When we diagnose and repair a problem, we solve the problem, and we stop further deterioration and weakness that has resulted from the issue in the first place.

Making our clients and families feel safe and secure in their homes.

Water on the floor, cracked or bulging walls are only symptoms. The actual causes are hidden by concrete and earth. When repairs are performed, only time will tell if they were done correctly. Rely on Gaidish and our many years of experience, resulting in prompt service and repairs that last.

We modify the conditions that cause problems so you can have peace of mind….

After repairs are achieved and strength is returned to your foundation we attack the causes and conditions that resulted in your foundation damage. Your home will be safe from further leakage and deterioration.

1) Steel Wall Reinforcement (Braces)

Steel wall reinforcement may be recommended when the walls have some cracks and/or movement- we mostly look at block and poured walls.

NOTE: For brick and stone walls, we prefer that you start with an Engineer.

2) Excavation and Repair

Excavation and repair may be recommended with walls that have significant movement or seepage high on walls.

3) Interior Drain Tile Repair

Interior drain tile repair can eliminate seepage when seepage is at cover of wall (where the wall meets the floor.)

4) Tuckpointing

Tuckpointing is more of a cosmetic repair and assists in the future monitoring of walls.

5) Basement Waterproofing

Waterproofing usually consists of excavating and waterproofing. This is done where there is a seepage issue and no structural problems with the home.

6) Egress windows

Egress windows can be installed to give a second exit in the basement (usually in a bedroom.)

7) Glass Block Windows

We prefer to install glass block windows when doing a job, but in some circumstances, we will do glass block windows by themselves.
